ABEM-certified physicians are required to complete four LLSA activities in each five-year period of their ten-year certification. A new LLSA test is posted each year, and each test consists of 20 to 30 questions. While each LLSA test originally remained online for three years from each April 1 release date, the time frame each test is available has been expanded to five years.
